How we plan to give big with BigGive and The Dulverton Trust

As we launch this year’s Big Give Christmas Challenge, we’ve been asking you to consider how you can support us during campaign week, which runs from Tuesday 3rd to Tuesday 10th December.

Here at Yes Futures, we’ve also been thinking about how to ramp up our fundraising, and two members of our Head Office Team, who also happen to be qualified coaches, are here to share their plans!

Tracy’s Christmas Coaching Challenge (and the 100th kilometre)

I trained as a coach in 2018 and then as a coach supervisor in 2022, but took a break following the birth of my son. Now seems like the perfect time to get going again, and with it being my 40th birthday year, I’ve got an extra special twist to my challenge. 

From Friday 1st November until Tuesday 10th December, I’m aiming to complete 40 hours of coaching in 40 days, and people can choose from two options depending on what suits them best.

The first option is to book a one-off session in exchange for a small donation to our Big Give page during campaign week.

Alternatively, I figured people may like to take the opportunity for some deeper end-of-year reflection and planning ahead for 2025 by booking a series of 2 to 6 sessions. With this option, I’ll be donating 40% of the total I earn to the campaign.

I’m also offering the same for coaches who are looking for supervision.

A couple of months ago I decided to ask everyone to hold their donations so that they can make their donations during campaign week instead. I’ve got my 9th 10k coming up on Sunday 17th November and I’m looking out for a festive special to complete my 100th kilometre in December. 

What started as a challenge to celebrate Yes Futures’ 10th anniversary and my 40th birthday has become an opportunity to double any final donations that were due to come my way!

Kat’s Challenge

I can’t compete with Tracy’s epic training and 10ks but I also became a trained coach in 2021 and provide both business and leadership coaching to female social entrepreneurs as well as coaching to individuals looking to identify their purpose and potential ways to turn that into a business. 

Until 10th December, you can book a pay-as-you feel coaching session (1 hour) with me. I’ll ask you to make your pay-as-you-feel payment via our Big Give campaign page, so the whole payment will be a donation to our Big Give campaign.
